A tragic incident occurred at Abuakwa-Abakomadi within the Ashanti Region, the place a 29-year-old lady, Bernice Asantewaa, allegedly stabbed her husband, Kofi Antwi, 35, to loss of life.
According to residents, the incident was a results of a confrontation over Bernice’s infidelity.
Brother to the deceased, Mr. Joseph Acheampong, shared particulars with this reporter that the unhappy incident occurred on Thursday, October 31, 2024.
Mr. Acheampong disclosed that his brother had been experiencing marital points as a consequence of Bernice’s infidelity.
He added that regardless of household recommendation to finish the connection, Kofi Antwi declined.
“Before his loss of life, Kofi Antwi had travelled for enterprise for every week. However, Bernice threatened to hurt him when he returns,” he mentioned.
Upon his return, a fierce altercation ensued, leading to each events stabbing one another. Unfortunately, Kofi Antwi succumbed to his accidents.
Mr Acheampong famous that Bernice Asantewaa is receiving therapy at Suntreso Government Hospital, whereas Kofi Antwi’s physique has been deposited at Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital’s morgue pending post-mortem.
