The Volta Regional Football Association (VRFA) organized an inaugural brainstorming workshop for golf equipment forward of the 2024/25 soccer season, which is about to begin on November 9, 2024.
The purpose of the workshop was to boost soccer growth within the area, guaranteeing advantages for native communities.
In attendance was the Ho Municipal Chief Executive, Richard Divine Bosson, who lauded the VRFA for the initiative, describing it as an indication of “new issues to come back” regardless of the challenges confronted in operating soccer.
The workshop was attended by near 50 golf equipment and directors.
It centered on key areas together with grassroots soccer growth, regional tournaments, facility upgrades and upkeep within the districts, greatest practices in soccer administration and governance, fan engagement, combating hooliganism, partnerships, sponsorships, and social media engagement, and the event of girls’s soccer and seashore soccer.
The Volta FA Chairman Daniel Agbogah inspired membership homeowners to implement the concepts mentioned through the workshop.
He introduced a GH₵5,000 money prize for the league champion, in addition to medals for zonal champions.
The Municipal Chief Executive then formally launched the league, marking the beginning of the regional soccer season throughout all league facilities.
