Ghanaian football legend Abedi Pele has urged the country to focus on progress and hard work as it seeks to reclaim its status as a football powerhouse. His comments come after the Black Stars of Ghana failed to qualify for the upcoming African Cup of Nations scheduled to take place in Morocco next year, among others, raising concerns about the future of football in the country.

The legendary player also underscored the necessity of laying a strong foundation for success, which he believes is rooted in unity and preparation. “What it takes to be a great football team or a great football nation is to work hard and put your house in order to make sure that you get results,” Pele stated.
