Who is eligible?

What is the maximum amount that you can receive?
Undergraduate students:
- Attain exceptional academic performance in high school (with a minimum of 120 UCAS points or equivalent) and receive a £2,000 scholarship towards your tuition fees.
- Attain exceptional academic performance in high school (scoring a minimum of 96 UCAS points or its equivalent): Earn a £1,000 scholarship towards your tuition!
Graduate students:
- Possess a first-class or upper second-class undergraduate degree (or its equivalent): Receive £2,000 towards your tuition fees!
- Possess a 2:2 bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent): Receive a £1,000 scholarship towards your tuition fees!
Graduate students engaged in research:
- Attain a distinction in your master’s degree (or an equivalent qualification): Receive a £2,000 scholarship to offset your tuition fees for your research program!
- Attain a merit in your Master’s degree (or its equivalent): Receive a £1,000 scholarship to offset your tuition fees for your research program!
Crucial Reminder:
This scholarship serves as a reduction in the amount of money you need to pay for your tuition costs. We will deduct the reward amount directly from your total fees.
Eligible Nationalities:
- This grant is available to students from any country.
Requirements for eligibility:
To be eligible for our International Merit Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:
- A student who pays overseas tuition fees.
- Enrolling in a full-time undergraduate program at either our Cambridge, Chelmsford, or Peterborough campuses.
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree, a structured postgraduate degree, or an independent research program.
- Engaging in full-time study, unless extraordinary conditions are impeding the ability to study full-time.
- Undergraduate students must have attained CCC marks or higher at A-level (or an equivalent qualification). Postgraduate students are required to have a minimum of a 2:2 grade or above (or its equivalent).
Excluded from consideration are degree apprenticeships, foundation degrees, distance learning or work-based degrees, postgraduate certificates, postgraduate diplomas, students applying to ARU College, and students joining a Master’s with credit.
