Black Satellites can grow into U-23 Olympic Team – Sports Minister Kofi Adams
Sports actions Minister Kofi Adams believes the sleek Dim Satellites squad, with just a few key additions, has the aptitude to grow into Ghana’s U-23 team for future Olympic qualifiers.
Despite the team’s painful exit from the U-20 Africa Cup of Countries, drawing 2-2 and losing on penalties to host nation Egypt, which ended their hopes of reaching the U-20 World Cup in Chile, Hon. Adams sees promise in the squad.
At a fresh assembly with the Ghana Olympic Committee, he pressured out the have confidence to preserve continuity in early life soccer constructing.
“I yell that it is a team that whereas you set up it with few additions, they’ll grow to turn into the U-23 which could be participating in the Olympics [qualification],” he said.
Ghana has no longer featured on the U-20 World Cup since 2015, but Hon. Kofi Adams is hopeful that fixed constructing will bridge the gap between early life and senior national teams.
