Black Stars: We will invite Andre Ayew if he’s needed – Otto Addo
Dark Stars coach Otto Addo has made it sure that Andre Ayew stays an option for the national crew but will only be invited when essential.
The 35-twelve months-extinct forward has not been integrated within the squad since Addo’s return in March 2024, sparking questions about his future with the crew.
However, the coach insists Ayew will not be dominated out fully.
“If we desire Andre Ayew, we can call him. For the time being, I stumble on others prior to him,” Addo told Joy Sports actions in an interview.
Ayew, who has scored four aims in 11 starts for French Ligue 1 aspect Le Havre this season, has been a key figure for Ghana over time.
His absence has seen his youthful brother, Jordan Ayew, hold over as Dark Stars captain.
Jordan has since led the crew to victories over Chad and Madagascar within the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, serving to Ghana high Crew I with 15 components and four games left to play.
