President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Dr. Patrice Motsepe, has known as on African clubs to toughen the player remuneration of players to attend administration the mass exodus.
Through the years, players have left Africa’s shores for greener pastures in Europe and different continents.
The mass exodus of players from the African continent has affected the quality of football.
“What would possibly per chance per chance well have a huge impact on making sure that the right African players live in Africa is that we have to pay them successfully. We must forever pay them competitively,” Motsepe stated.
“And I do know from my abilities at Sundowns that we competed with Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Greece.
“And we’d ask players, ‘K, how grand are you earning there? And we are able to pay you that.’ They’d resolve on to be in Africa.
“I’m proud of what many of our African clubs are doing, making big sacrifices. And some of them are making big monetary sacrifices because they produce no longer have the trend,” he added.
Motsepe relinquished his characteristic because the president of South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns following his election as CAF president.
