Carlos Alcaraz has once again demonstrated his resilience and skill on the grand stage by advancing to his second consecutive Wimbledon final. The Spaniard faced a challenging start against Daniil Medvedev but managed to recover and secure a hard-fought victory in four sets. The final score was 6-7, 6-3, 6-4, 6-4.

In the initial set, Alcaraz appeared nervous and struggled to find his rhythm. Daniil Medvedev capitalised on this, displaying remarkable precision and control to take the first set in a tiebreaker. Alcaraz admitted, “I started really, really nervous. Daniil was dominating the match, playing great tennis. It was difficult for me.” Despite the rough beginning, Alcaraz showed mental fortitude and began to turn the match around.

The second set marked a significant shift in momentum. Alcaraz regained his composure and started to dictate the pace of the game with powerful serves and strategic plays. His confidence grew with each point, and he managed to break Medvedev’s serve, eventually winning the set 6-3.
