CHANNEL ONE SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP: Last year’s edition was amazing- Bluefins Swim Club Coach

Coach of the Bluefins Swim Club, Gideon Agyeman, has praised the maiden edition of the Channel One Swimming Championship and described it as “amazing”.

He said this in an exclusive interview on Channel One’s Breakfast Daily in the lead up to the 2024 edition of the competition that takes place on July 13 and July 14.

This year’s Swimming Championship comes off at the Borteyman Sports Complex with over 100 swimmers expected to compete across Under 10, Under 13, Under 15 and Under 17 age categories.

“We were privileged to showcase our abilities in the last competition and it was amazing. Last year’s competition was amazing; some of the kids were able to drop their times and for the fact that swimming has been able to come to such a limelight by Channel One, is such a great opportunity and the swimming community is very glad that competitions such as this are being organized.”
