Fire devastates 3-storey KNUST student hostel, leaving students stranded

On Thursday night time, a devastating hearth razed a three-storey lodging facility often called “Father Hostel” on the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

The reason behind the hearth has but to be decided, nevertheless it has severely broken the constructing, which served as a hostel for college students.

At least 9 rooms have been lowered to rubble, leaving the victims devastated and college students in adjoining buildings frightened.

Fortunately, no casualties had been reported. However, a minimum of 9 college students have misplaced all their belongings to the flames, leaving them and not using a place to remain. 

Victims recounted that the hearth began in a single room earlier than it rapidly unfold all through the constructing, consuming their valuables inside minutes.
