GFA On Kurt Okraku’s Recent Trip To Germany

0

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has clarified the purpose of President Kurt Okraku’s recent visit to Germany, addressing rumours that falsely suggested he met with a German coach regarding the Black Stars’ coaching job.

In an official press release, the GFA stated, “The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has taken note of false reports being circulated that the Association has met a German coach and is negotiating remuneration with him. The Association wishes to state clearly that the reports are entirely false.”

The GFA clarified that Okraku’s visit to Germany was focused solely on strengthening the association’s partnership with Puma, the long-time kit sponsor of the Black Stars.

“The GFA President did not meet with any coach during his recent trip to Germany. The purpose of his visit was to engage with representatives of Puma…to discuss matters of mutual interest and strengthen our partnership,” the release stated.

Emphasising the importance of accurate reporting, the GFA urged the media and the public to disregard these unverified rumours and refrain from spreading them.

Instead, it advised turning to the GFA’s official website and verified social media channels for accurate information.
