Ghana FA to meet FIFA over implementation of VAR

FIFA will maintain a serious assembly with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to debate plans to introduce Video Assistant Referee (VAR) know-how into Ghana’s home leagues. This two-day assembly can be held in Accra on October 31 and November 1, 2024.

The occasion, often called the “VAR kick-off assembly,” is step one in FIFA’s Implementation Assessment Approval Program. This program is required for any nation wishing to make use of VAR know-how. Representatives from FIFA and the GFA will go over necessary particulars in regards to the VAR challenge to ensure all the pieces is prepared for its profitable begin in Ghana.
