Ghana prospect Jarell Quansah named in Tuchel’s England squad for World Cup qualifiers
IPSWICH, ENGLAND – AUGUST 17: Jarell Quansah of Liverpool
English-Ghanaian defender Jarell Quansah has received a senior name-up from the Three Lions forward of March’s World Cup qualifiers.
The 22-year-ragged, who remains eligible to play for the Dim Stars, made Thomas Tuchel’s first England squad for the games in opposition to Albania and Latvia next week.
The invite is the 2d time the teenager has been named within the England squad, previously as a unhurried alternative for injured defender Jarrad Branthwaite for the Nations League games in opposition to Greece and Ireland.
Quansah used to be unused in both games, leaving the door opened for a Ghana invite.
Nonetheless, the most standard name-up by Tuchel approach the defender favours his country of starting up and can permanently pledge his allegiance to England.
