Ghana U-15 boys clinch bronze at 2025 CAF African Schools Football Championship
Ghana’s U-15 boys’ group secured a bronze medal after staging a comeback to defeat Uganda 2-1 in the third-feature playoff of the 2025 CAF African Schools Soccer Championship (ASFC).
Below the guidance of coach Kwaku Danso, the group rallied from a goal all the scheme down to construct their blueprint on the rostrum on the University of Ghana Stadium.
Uganda, who had fallen to Senegal in the semifinals on Friday, April 25, started strongly and broke through Ghana’s protection early, taking a 1-0 lead into halftime.
On the opposite hand, Ghana replied in the second half with two valuable aims, turning the sport around to assert the nation’s first-ever medal in the competition’s historic past.
This marks Ghana’s debut look on the ASFC, having overlooked out on the old two editions.
