Ghana U-15 Women’ team goalkeeper, Necessary Akanguwie, became named Goalkeeper of the Match at the 2025 CAF African Faculties Soccer Championship.
Akanguwie delivered a sequence of impressive performances for the duration of the four-day event held at the College of Ghana, pulling off well-known saves to files her team to the title. Her efforts had been instrumental in Ghana’s 2-0 win over Uganda in the final on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
