POSITION: Aircraft Mechanic II

**Summary:**
As an Aircraft Mechanic II, your responsibilities include the maintenance and oversight of C-12 aircraft. This involves performing inspections, addressing any mechanical issues, and ensuring the aircraft are safe for flight.

Duties

 

  • Perform routine and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft, which involves diagnosing issues, replacing parts, and handling complex engine work.
  • Conduct inspections such as preflight checks, in-flight assessments, basic post-flight evaluations, operational checks, and phase inspections.
  • Troubleshoot system problems and implement necessary corrections.
  • Manage and maintain ground support equipment, ensuring all tasks required for aircraft movement on the ground are completed.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines established by the company and regulatory authorities.
  • Clean, polish, and maintain both the interior and exterior of aircraft. Serve as the point of contact for the Quality Assurance Representative and assist visitors.
  • Alert management to potential issues that may delay aircraft delivery to customers.
  • Accurately document maintenance activities in aircraft records and promptly update the Management Information System.
  • Undertake additional tasks as needed, which may include temporary assignments and travel.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with at least 1 year focused on King Air or 1900 Airliner series aircraft. Must possess an FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate and the ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship is required for clearance eligibility).
  • Availability to work during the day, evening, nights, and weekends as necessary is essential.
  • Candidates must also be capable of obtaining permission for access to specific locations, which includes health clearance and visa requirements.
  • Proficiency in reading and comprehending diagrams, drawings, charts, and technical documents is required. Physical capabilities should include sitting, standing, kneeling, crawling, and occasionally lifting items up to 50 pounds.
  • A flight line driver’s license is also necessary.
  • Strong skills in reading, writing, and speaking clearly and simply in English are required.
