Leicester City are set to complete the signing of Jordan Ayew from Crystal Palace for a fee of £8 million, plus add-ons. The 32-year-old Ghanaian forward has reportedly agreed to join the newly promoted side, despite recently signing a one-year contract extension with Crystal Palace that was set to expire in June 2025.

Joining Leicester City will mark a new chapter in his career after struggling for game time at Crystal Palace following the departure of manager Roy Hodgson. Despite this, Ayew still managed to finish the season as the Ghanaian player with the second-most assists in the English topflight, with seven assists in the Premier League only behind Mohammed Kudus who had eight.

The transfer was confirmed by Edmund Brack and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who reported that the deal was “all done” and that Ayew would be joining Leicester City for a fee of £8 million, plus add-ons. Ayew is expected to bring his experience and skill to the Leicester City squad, and will be looking to make an impact in the Premier League.

The signing of Ayew will be a significant boost for Leicester City, who are looking to establish themselves in the topflight. With Jordan Ayew set  to arrive, the Foxes will be hoping to challenge for a top places in the Premier League.
