Eligibility

To be eligible for the MTN Ghana Foundation Scholarship,

  • Applicants should be enrolled as either a first-year or continuing student at an accredited public tertiary institution in Ghana.

Requirements

Applicants are required to submit a one-page letter of motivation outlining their educational and professional goals, along with supporting documents such as WASSCE results, admission letters, and testimonials from their Senior High School. The selection process is thorough, with a focus on verifying the authenticity of all submitted documents.

If you hail from any of the eligible regions in Ghana, living in and around Accra, Kumasi, Tamale, and any town with MTN office, you are encouraged to apply for the MTN Ghana Foundation Scholarship. First-year students must meet specific academic criteria, while continuing students should maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 and engage in extracurricular activities.

  1. First visit the MTN Scholarship Portal Login: scholarships.mtn.com.gh or Download The MTN Bright Scholarship Application Form here.
  2. You can as well visit selected MTN Service Centers or any of our regional offices; Tamale Branch, Wa Branch, Bolgatanga Branch, Kumasi (Nhyaeso branch), Takoradi Main-Beach Road, Ho Main Branch, MTN House, Accra, Cape Coast Branch, Sunyani Main Branch, Koforidua Main Branch to pick up and submit forms.
  3. Your application should include the following: A one-page letter of motivation or reason indicating why MTN Foundation should award you a scholarship for your education. This should touch on what your educational and professional goals are. WASSCE results, admission letter and written testimonials from your Senior High School. Evidence of Ghanaian citizenship.
