Nigeria awarded 3-0 win over Libya after airport drama

A flight headed for Benghazi needed to flip again, leaving the sport between Libya and Nigeria unplayed. This led to a variety of hypothesis amongst followers in each nations.
After reviewing the state of affairs, the CAF Disciplinary Board discovered that the Libyan Football Federation violated a number of guidelines, together with Article 31 of the Africa Cup of Nations Regulations and Articles 82 and 151 of the CAF Disciplinary Code.
As a consequence, CAF rapidly determined to award a 3-0 victory to Nigeria and fined the Libyan Football Federation $50,000, which should be paid inside 60 days.
Nigeria had beforehand gained the primary leg 1-0 due to a late objective by substitute Fisayo Dele-Bashiru. This resolution now boosts Nigeria’s possibilities of qualifying for the event in Morocco.
