Sammy Kuffuor reflects on how he saved legendary goalkeeper Oliver Kahn’s life

Used Ghana defender Sammy Kuffour has shared a noteworthy epic of how he saved the existence of legendary goalkeeper Oliver Kahn for the interval of a Champions League match against Manchester United in 2001.

Kuffour recalled the dramatic moment when Kahn collapsed on the pitch, and he like a flash sprang into motion to attach CPR on his teammate. This daring act has created a prolonged lasting bond between the two football legends.

“Anytime it be my birthday, Oliver Kahn posts that image [of me saving his life with CPR] and says thank you. These are things money can’t aquire,” Kuffour talked about, highlighting the depth of their friendship.

Kuffour’s reflections on his time at Bayern Munich, where he spent 12 seasons and obtained several trophies, including the UEFA Champions League and Club World Cup, moreover showcased his appreciation for the membership.

“Bayern Munich made me who I’m this day. They took me as their very agree with, acted as my agent, and guaranteed me a passport. Or now not it is a blessing to be half of the Bayern family,” he told Sporty FM.
