Sanie Dara Rejects Corruption Claims Against Gfa

Outdated school Ghana Soccer Association (GFA) Communications Director, Ibrahim Sannie Daara, has brushed aside allegations of corruption within the soccer governing body, describing such claims as fraudulent.

“I don’t aquire into the belief that the GFA is sinful. That’s not just loyal,” he acknowledged on Atinka FM’s Fable Sports Show with Justice Adusi-Poku.

On the 2nd a Senior Media Officer at the Confederation of African Soccer (CAF), Sannie Daara emphasized the need for bigger transparency in terms of the GFA’s financial dealings.

“The GFA is a non-public entity, not a govt institution. Basically the most absorbing time the govt. collaborates with the GFA is for world competitions inspiring nationwide teams,” he clarified.

Addressing allegations from King Faisal FC owner Alhaji Grusah who claimed the GFA demanded 50% of his $100,000 honorarium from the 2022 World Cup Sannie Daara defined that funds were redistributed to predominant employees.

“There were barely just a few employees members who labored tirelessly in the wait on of the scenes, at the side of Henry Asante Twum and Alex Asante. They moreover deserved compensation for his or her efforts,” he renowned.
