Sometimes we have wrong people in the right positions – Anthony Baffoe on management of sports facilities
Worn Ghana worldwide Anthony Baffoe has lamented the awful administration of sports activities facilities in Ghana, attributing the field to the appointment of unqualified personnel to extreme roles.
Baffoe emphasised that assigning experts to key positions is crucial for driving vogue in the sports activities sector.
“Or no longer you need to gain experts [for our various stadia]. A carpenter or painter can’t be a groundskeeper.”
He wired that having the supreme folks in the supreme positions is needed for effective administration. “Veritably we have gotten the detrimental folks in the supreme positions. This has to alternate. Now we want to have experts in diversified positions.”
Baffoe’s comments come because the National Sports Authority, now led by Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, oversees the administration of divulge-owned stadia.
