δυσμή, -ῆς, , [from Aeschylus and Herodotus down], much more often in plural [Winer's Grammar, § 27, 3] δυσμαί, αἱ, (δύω or δύνω, which see), namely, ἡλίου, the setting of the sun: Luke 12:54 [according to the reading of T WH Tr marginal reading ἐπὶ δ. may possibly be understood of time (cf. Winers Grammar, 375f (352)); see ἐπί, A. II.; others take the preposition locally, over, in, and give δυσμ. the meaning which follows; see ἐπί, A.
