¹ “Listen! Are you thirsty for more?

² Why spend your hard-earned money

³ Pay attention and come closer to me,

⁴ See! I made him a witness to the nations,

⁵ Look! You will summon nations you’ve never heard of.

⁶ Seek[12] the Lord Yahweh when he makes himself approachable;[13]

⁷ The wicked need to abandon their ways,

⁸ “For my thoughts about mercy[16] are not like your thoughts,

⁹ As high as the heavens are above the earth,

¹⁰ “As the snow and rain that fall from heaven[17]

¹¹ So also will be the word[18] that I speak;

¹² For you will leave your exile with joy[21]

¹³ Cypress trees will flourish where there were only thorns[23]
