Abandoned Sempe school project will be completed- Titus Glover assures chief

Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus Glover, the Greater Accra Regional Minister-Designate, has promised that the Regional Coordinating Council will take charge of seeing to it that the abandoned Accra Sempe School project is finished.

On the Citi Breakfast Show on Citi FM monitored by monitored Puretvonline.c0m, Mr. Glover assured that the project will be finished and that the students in the region would receive the education they require.

Mr. Glover stated, “The Regional Coordinating Council, or RCC, will ensure that the project is completed.”

In a news conference on Thursday, May 9, the Mankralo of the Ga State, Nii Adote Otintor II, begged the government to turn over the school’s rebuilding to the traditional authority in order to guarantee its completion.

Under the direction of Alfred Oko Vanderpuije, the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) started the project’s rehabilitation as part of its efforts to abolish the school shift system in the Greater Accra area.

The plan was to transform the school into a cutting-edge, multi-story instructional facility, but since the previous administration left power nearly eight years ago, the project has been neglected.

The Mayor of Accra was also criticised by Nii Adote Otintor II of not consulting the traditional authority before to starting development initiatives, but Mr. Glover pledged to make contact with them in order to foster closer cooperation.
