Job Duties

• Verify customer CAD designs and ensure accuracy before initiating manufacturing production processes.
• Create prototype component and assembly prints supporting progression from concept through production stages.
• Manage engineering documentation including job folders, ECN requests, and project timelines.
• Design fixtures and gauges to support inspection and quality control processes.
• Review and modify CAD drawings using GD and T standards accurately.
• Prepare complete manufacturing job folders including bills of materials and inspection reports.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and account managers to improve workflow efficiency.
• Support process improvement initiatives and assist in training CAD team members.

Job Requirements

• Minimum two to three years CAD experience in manufacturing using SolidWorks required.
• Experience designing weld fixtures and strong understanding of GD and T required.
• Ability to read CMM reports and generate accurate bills of materials.
• Strong communication skills with ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD software such as SolidWorks required.
• Ability to multitask, manage timelines, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering preferred but relevant experience acceptable.
• Must be eligible to work in United States and meet visa requirements.
