POSITION: Receptionist

Elias Perfect Home is seeking a Receptionist to join our Airbnb hospitality team. Your Mission

You will take responsibility for welcoming and assisting guests, ensuring every arrival feels warm and every departure leaves a positive impression. Your role includes managing bookings and reservations, keeping calendars accurate and avoiding double bookings. You will respond to calls, emails, and guest messages promptly, coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to prepare rooms, and handle guest requests and issues professionally.

Key Responsibilities

Your role spans guest welcome, reservation management, communication, team coordination, and problem resolution. Here is what you will tackle:

Guest Welcome

• You will welcome and assist guests during check in and check out, providing keys, explaining house rules, and answering questions.
• Ensuring every guest feels valued from the moment they arrive.

Reservation Management

• You will manage bookings and reservations, keeping the calendar accurate and avoiding conflicts.
• Processing cancellations and modifications according to policy.

Communication

• You will respond to calls, emails, and guest messages promptly, answering questions about amenities, local attractions, and policies.
• Providing clear instructions for self check in when required.

Team Coordination

• You will coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are clean, stocked, and ready before guest arrival.
• Reporting maintenance issues promptly to avoid guest complaints.

Problem Resolution

• You will handle guest requests and resolve issues professionally, from extra towels to noise complaints.
• Escalating serious issues to management when needed.

What You Bring to the Role

Qualifications & Experience

• A tertiary graduate with HND, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree.
• A minimum of one year of experience in reception, customer service, hospitality, hotel, guest house, or Airbnb operations.

Skills & Personal Attributes

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests, team members, and management.
• Good computer skills and familiarity with online booking platforms such as Airbnb, Booking.com, or Expedia gives you an advantage.
• Strong organizational and problem solving abilities to handle multiple reservations and guest requests simultaneously.

• Calm under pressure: You handle angry or frustrated guests without taking it personally.
