POSITION: Procurement Officer

Cardinal Namdini Mining Ltd is seeking a Procurement Officer to manage freight handling, supply sourcing, price negotiation, and purchase order creation. If you have experience with SAP as an added advantage, plus strong communication and interpersonal skills, this role offers the opportunity to prepare RFPs and RFQs, conduct negotiations, manage supplier relationships, administer local content requirements, and support capacity building for local suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

Your role spans general procurement, local content, and logistics. Here is what you will tackle:

General Procurement

• You will prepare and issue Requests for Proposals and Request for Quotes.
• Conducting fact finding and leading negotiations on price, schedules, and terms with suppliers.
• Also, Managing pre award and post award supplier activities.
• Promoting existing procurement Standard Operating Procedures to ensure consistent standards and compliance.
• Then, Performing any other related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Local Content

• You will serve as the Supply Chain Liaison Person for Local Content issues in collaboration with the CSR Department.
• Supporting the Supply Chain Manager to administer the expectations of LI 2431.
• Collaborating with User Departments to drive local procurement spend.
• Assisting the Supply Chain Manager in capacity building for local companies.

Logistics

• You will handle freight including offshore and destination clearance processes.

What You Bring to the Role

Qualifications & Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma with an emphasis in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of five years of relevant experience in a procurement or supply chain role.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP gives you an added advantage.
• Chinese speaking proficiency gives you an added advantage.
