Job Duties

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble hydraulic cylinders for testing
• Build hydraulic power units, including pipework and component fitting
• Perform welding duties using TIG and MIG methods when required
• Mentor apprentices on correct fitting methods within the workshop
• Install hydraulic pipework on-site, including tube bending work
• Conduct pressure testing, flushing, and dry or wet commissioning
• Work with stainless steel materials following SWMS and JSEAS

Job Requirements

• Fitter trade qualification with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
• Hydraulics experience is an advantage, though training is provided
• Welding skills in TIG and MIG methods are beneficial
• Ability to read production drawings and produce quality work
• Strong attention to detail and reliable, positive work attitude
• Ability to work both autonomously and within a team setting
