The Role Awaits You

We currently seek an Accounts Clerk for immediate employment. This position places you at the heart of our financial operations, where you will manage accounts, process transactions, maintain financial records, and support the firm’s accounting functions. Your work will directly influence our ability to manage finances effectively and maintain the trust of our clients and stakeholders.

Your Core Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records systematically, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and documented.
• Process accounts payable and receivable efficiently, managing invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review, supporting informed decision making.
• Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement.
• Manage petty cash and reconcile cash transactions regularly.
• Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary documentation during audits.
• Maintain organised filing systems for all financial documents and records.
• Perform any other accounting duties as assigned by management.

Qualification and Experience

To succeed in this role, you must bring a combination of academic qualifications, practical skills, and personal attributes. Specifically, we require:

• Educational Qualification: HND in Accounting from a recognised institution.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to financial record keeping and accuracy.
• Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
• Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Integrity: High level of honesty and professionalism in handling financial information.
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and management.

Duty Station: This position is based at our office in Accra. Candidates must reside in or be willing to commute to Accra.
