POSITION: Coordinator, Staff Care & Well being
World Vision International is seeking a Coordinator, Staff Care & Well being to strengthen our global approach to staff support. If you have at least five years of experience in coordination, project management, or operations support, understand the realities of national or regional offices, and want to help translate global commitments into clear processes and measurable impact, this role offers the perfect opportunity to serve those who serve vulnerable children.
Why World Vision?
With 75 years of experience, World Vision focuses on helping the most vulnerable children overcome poverty and experience fullness of life. We work in nearly 100 countries with over 33,000 staff members, reaching children of all backgrounds even in the most dangerous places. Our Christian faith inspires everything we do. As we strengthen our global Staff Care & Well being approach, we need people who can ensure clear systems, accessible resources, and consistent follow through. If you have ever sat in a national or regional office thinking, “This is a good strategy, but it is not landing yet,” this role may be for you.
Your Mission
You will serve as the operational and learning backbone of the Global Staff Care & Well being team. This is not a counseling role. Rather, you will focus on coordinating team workflows, maintaining knowledge systems, supporting monitoring and reporting, and strengthening information flow between global, regional, and national contexts. You do not need to be a subject matter expert in mental health. However, you do need to care about dignity, sustainability, and creating conditions where people can do their work well.
Key Responsibilities
Your role spans workflow coordination, knowledge management, learning support, and global field connection. Here is what you will tackle:
Keeping the Work Moving
- You will coordinate workflows, schedules, and deliverables across the team, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
- Tracking progress and supporting timely follow up keeps initiatives on track.
- Supporting budget monitoring and basic operational reporting provides financial visibility.
Protecting Knowledge and Clarity
- You will maintain shared knowledge platforms and repositories, making information accessible to everyone who needs it.
- Organizing tools, templates, and guidance so they are easy to find and use saves time and reduces frustration.
- Drafting and circulating internal updates, briefings, and learning notes keeps stakeholders informed and aligned.
Supporting Learning and Accountability
- You will collect and compile monitoring data aligned with the Staff Care Theory of Change, providing evidence for decision making.
- Supporting analysis of trends and feedback turns raw data into actionable insights.
- Documenting lessons learned and contributing to reporting cycles captures institutional knowledge.
Strengthening Global and Field Connection
- You will support information flow between global, regional, and national teams, breaking down silos.
- Helping organize webinars, learning exchanges, and consultations creates spaces for connection and growth.
- Capturing field insights and ensuring they inform planning and improvement closes the loop between strategy and execution.
What You Bring to the Role
We are looking for a candidate with the right experience, educational background, and personal attributes. Here is what you need:
Required Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- A minimum of five years of experience in coordination, project management, communication, or operations support.
- An educational background in administration, project management, organizational development, communication, or a related field.
- Professional training in project coordination or knowledge management gives you a distinct advantage.
- Experience working in complex international organizations.
- Ability to manage knowledge systems and basic data tracking.
- Strong organization and communication skills across cultures.
- Fluency in English; additional languages give you a strong advantage.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Familiarity with staff care, employee well being, and humanitarian context operations.
- Experience supporting monitoring, evaluation, and learning functions.
- Strong intercultural communication and facilitation skills.
- Competence with digital collaboration platforms such as SharePoint, Teams, Click up, PowerBI, and dashboards.
- Multilingual capacity strongly preferred.
- Ability to operate effectively and responsively in a fast changing, ambiguous environment while dealing with high pressure situations calmly and with energy and resilience.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to work well independently as a motivated self starter with good initiative and problem solving skills.
- Strong critical thinking abilities, displaying proactive and innovative approaches to work streams.
- Has worked in a national or regional office and understands the realities of complex systems, competing priorities, and limited bandwidth.
- Finds satisfaction in making things work better by clarifying processes, organizing information, closing loops, and ensuring follow through.
