Requirements for ARES Scholarships for Developing Countries 2027

1. Residency and Professional Activity

  • Applicants must be permanent residents of a qualifying country. Applicants must be residents and workers of one of the countries covered by the ARES Program.

2. Academic Qualification

  • You must hold the academic qualification required for admission to the selected programme. Applicants should read the programme description and admission conditions before submitting their application.

3. Professional Experience

In most cases, applicants must have at least two years of relevant work experience. The experience must be relevant to the applicant’s chosen programme and career goals.

4. Language Requirements

  • Applicants must fill out the application in the language of instruction for their selected programme.

Candidates must additionally show an excellent grasp of that language, including:

  1. Written communication skills
  2. Spoken communication skills

5. One programme per applicant

You can apply for only one ARES programme. Candidates should therefore choose the programme that best matches their academic qualifications and work experience.
