The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at Arizona State University (ASU) 2027 is a wonderful opportunity for bright young Africans to study selected master’s programmes with full financial and academic support.

The Mastercard Scholarship at Arizona State University is a collaboration between the Mastercard Foundation and Arizona State University. The initiative seeks to train the next generation of African technology and innovation professionals by providing them with access to graduate education, leadership development, mentorship, and practical experience.

Thirty (30) scholarships will be awarded to qualifying candidates who are admitted to participating full-time, on-campus master’s programmes. The scholarship will cover the main study-related expenses, including tuition fees, accommodation, airfare, visa and medical costs, and academic and leadership assistance.

Requirements for Arizona State University Mastercard Scholarship 2027

1. Must be a citizen of any African country

Applicants must be of African nationality.

• The initiative is designed to support talented young Africans who have shown commitment to making a significant contribution to their communities and the continent.

2. Age Requirement

• Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 33 on the application deadline.

3. Show Leadership and Community Service

• Successful applicants will have a demonstrated track record of leadership and contribution to their communities.

4. Demonstrate Academic Excellence

• Candidates should have a solid academic record and aspirations that go beyond their financial means.

5. Possess an Undergraduate Degree

• An undergraduate degree must be awarded by July 2027. Candidates must ensure that their undergraduate degree is awarded by the specified timeframe.
