Responsibilities
- Design and build new Android features with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Coroutines
- Turn product ideas into clean, tested code that works great
- Fix bugs and make the app faster and more reliable
- Help improve our tools and processes, like CI/CD and infrastructure
- Review code from others and guide junior engineers
- Work hand-in-hand with product and design teams for top-notch user experiences
- Join in on tech talks and help decide on the best solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Android best practices
Requirements
- At least 7 years in software development, with 4+ years deep in Android
- Solid skills in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and MVVM
- Experience with APIs, Gradle, GitHub Actions, and testing tools like JUnit
- Familiar with Room, Jetpack Navigation, and Firebase
- Great at collaborating with teams and communicating ideas
- Track record of writing high-quality, maintainable code
- A degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Ready to work onsite in NYC three days a week
- Must have a transferable H-1B visa
