Data Officer — Broadway Pharmaceutical LTD (Accra)

Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement data management strategies and frameworks to keep data accurate and accessible.
- Ensure data integrity, quality and availability across systems and business units.
- Monitor and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
- Work with IT and other teams to maintain and improve data systems and processes.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards.
- Carry out regular data audits and quality checks, and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain clear data documentation, metadata repositories and process guides.
- Provide training and practical guidance to staff on correct data handling.
- Analyse data and produce clear, actionable reports to support business decisions.
Person specification
- HND or university degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics).
- Previous experience in data management, data quality or a related analytical role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with good command of English spelling and grammar.
- Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with data management or analysis tools.
- Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality and organisational skills.
- Able to prioritise tasks and manage multiple data projects reliably.
Location and working pattern
- Based in Accra with regular office hours; occasional field or inter‑departmental work may be required.
