Ace & Tate is recruiting a Junior Financial Accountant to join its growing finance team at the company headquarters in Amsterdam. Role Overview
- Location: Amsterdam headquarters (hybrid working), Netherlands
- Hours: 32–40 hours per week (part‑time considered where applicable)
- Contract: Permanent / Full‑time (subject to visa approval and company terms)
Key Responsibilities
- Verify, code and route supplier invoices for approval.
- Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and bank statements.
- Perform month‑end tasks, including P&L reviews and reporting.
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve invoice queries.
- Process employee expenses and support payment runs.
- Act as a finance contact for stores and HQ teams across markets.
- Support fixed asset accounting where required.
- Deliver ad‑hoc financial analysis and business case preparation.
- Assist with annual audits and compliance reviews.
Who We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 1–3 years’ relevant accounting or finance experience.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and month‑end processes.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence with Excel formulas.
- Experience with ERP systems; Odoo experience is an advantage.
- Adaptable, solution‑oriented and comfortable with change.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
