POSITION: Delivery & Dispatch Coordinator

Salad Boss Plus is seeking a Delivery & Dispatch Coordinator to take full ownership of our food delivery system. If you possess strong familiarity with restaurant POS systems, third party delivery dashboards, and basic network troubleshooting, plus excellent knowledge of Adenta and major Accra delivery routes, this role offers the opportunity to bridge the gap between our kitchen and customers, ensuring fast, accurate, and seamless deliveries every day.

As a Delivery & Dispatch Coordinator, you will not simply dispatch orders; you will coordinate with the kitchen, supervise riders, manage multi channel delivery dashboards, troubleshoot technical hitches, track riders in real time, handle delivery related inquiries, and reconcile cash on delivery and mobile money payments.

Your Mission

You will take responsibility for coordinating directly with the kitchen team to package and dispatch food orders immediately when ready. Your role includes double checking every order bag against invoices for 100% accuracy, supervising internal dispatch riders, coordinating with external delivery partners, and mapping optimized routes. Additionally, you will monitor multi channel restaurant delivery dashboards and tablets, ensure seamless POS integration, troubleshoot Wi Fi connectivity and app glitches, track riders in real time, handle delivery related customer inquiries, and reconcile payments with the cashier.

Key Responsibilities

Your role spans order dispatch, rider management, tech platform oversight, IT troubleshooting, customer support, and payment reconciliation. Here is what you will tackle:

Order Dispatch & Quality Control

• You will coordinate with the kitchen team to package and dispatch food orders immediately when ready.
• Double checking every order bag against invoices for dressings, sides, and cutlery to ensure 100% accuracy.

Rider & Fleet Management

• You will supervise internal dispatch riders and coordinate with external delivery partners.
• Mapping optimized routes to guarantee fast delivery times.

Tech & Platform Management

• You will monitor and manage multi channel restaurant delivery dashboards and tablets.
• Ensuring seamless integration between the Point of Sale system and the delivery network.

IT Troubleshooting

• You will act as the first line of defense for technical hitches during operation hours.
• Quickly resolving Wi Fi connectivity issues, app glitches, tablet freezes, and receipt printer jams.

Customer Support & Tracking

• You will track riders in real time, handling delivery related customer inquiries professionally.
• Solving transit or navigation issues on the spot.

Account Reconciliation

• You will work closely with the cashier to verify and reconcile cash on delivery and mobile money payments from riders at the end of their shifts.

What You Bring to the Role

Education & Experience

• An HND or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in restaurant dispatch, e commerce logistics, or fast food delivery management.

Technical Skills

• Strong familiarity with restaurant POS systems and third party delivery vendor dashboards.
• Basic network and hardware troubleshooting skills for Wi Fi, tablets, and printers.
• Proficiency in MS Excel for performance tracking.

Local Knowledge

• Excellent knowledge of Adenta and major Accra delivery routes, traffic shortcuts, and navigation apps.
