POSITION: Warehouse Officer

Bon Agro Company Limited is seeking a Warehouse Officer to join our team. Your Mission: Receive, Store, and Dispatch

You will take responsibility for receiving products and verifying specifications and quantities against purchase orders. Your role includes preparing products for delivery to customers or other warehouse outlets, monitoring to ensure products arrange systematically for easy identification and access, and coordinating loading and offloading activities safely. Additionally, you will maintain accurate stock records and inventory reports, inspect products for damage, leakage, or expiry issues, participate in regular stock counts and reconciliations, prepare weekly warehouse reports, and keep the warehouse clean, organized, and pest free.

Key Responsibilities

Your role spans receiving, storage, loading, record keeping, inspection, stock counts, reporting, and cleanliness. Here is what you will tackle:

Receiving & Verification

• You will receive products and verify specifications and quantities against purchase orders.
• Flagging discrepancies immediately to prevent payment errors or stock shortages.

Storage & Arrangement

• You will monitor to ensure products arrange systematically for easy identification and access.
• Storing agrochemicals according to safety guidelines, separating incompatible products.

Loading & Offloading

• You will coordinate loading and offloading activities safely, preventing accidents and product damage.
• Supervising warehouse assistants and ensuring proper stacking.

Record Keeping

• You will maintain accurate stock records and inventory reports using SAP or other software.
• Tracking receipts, deliveries, and adjustments in real time.

Inspection

• You will inspect products for damage, leakage, or expiry issues.
• Quarantining damaged or expired products for return or disposal.

Stock Counts

• You will participate in regular stock counts and reconciliations.
• Investigating discrepancies between physical counts and system records.

Reporting

• You will prepare weekly warehouse reports summarizing receipts, deliveries, stock levels, and issues.

Cleanliness & Safety

• You will keep the warehouse clean, organized, and pest free.
• Following safety protocols for handling agrochemicals, including proper ventilation and spill response.

What You Bring to the Role

Education & Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Two to three years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in agrochemicals warehouse operations.

Technical Knowledge

• Knowledge of inventory management and stock control principles.
• Experience with software such as SAP for inventory tracking and reporting.

Skills & Personal Attributes

• Excellent time management to prioritize receiving, storage, and dispatch activities.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain systematic product arrangement.
• Attention to detail to catch damage, leakage, or expiry before products ship.
