POSITION: Lecturers and Professors

Christian Service University, accredited by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC), invites applications for Assistant Lecturer, Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor, and Professor positions. Responsibilities

Your role spans academic instruction, research, assessment, supervision, and mentorship. Here is what you will tackle:

Academic Instruction

• You will provide academic instruction to students in assigned courses, delivering content clearly and engagingly.
• Developing course materials, syllabi, and lesson plans aligned with GTEC standards.

Research & Publications

• You will undertake research and publications in areas of academic interest, contributing to knowledge in Nursing, Midwifery, or Physician Assistantship.
• Publishing in peer reviewed journals and presenting at conferences.

Assessment

• You will undertake effective assessment of students’ academic performance through exams, assignments, and clinical evaluations.
• Providing constructive feedback that helps students improve.

Research Supervision

• You will supervise students’ research projects, theses, or dissertations.
• Guiding students through methodology, data analysis, and writing.

Mentorship & Counseling

• You will serve as a mentor and counselor to students, supporting their academic and professional development.
• Addressing academic or personal concerns with empathy and professionalism.

Personal Qualities

• Credible scholarly credentials in teaching, research, and publication.
• A high sense of work ethics and diligence, completing tasks thoroughly and on time.
• Proven capacity to motivate and inspire staff and students, creating a positive learning environment.
• Demonstrated ability to provide academic leadership, guiding curriculum development and program improvement.

Qualification & Experience

Assistant Lecturer

• An MPhil in Nursing, Midwifery, or Physician Assistantship.

Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor, or Professor

• A PhD in Nursing, Midwifery, or Physician Assistantship.
• Or already a Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor, or Professor in a related discipline holding a PhD.

Professional Registration

• Candidates applying for Nursing and Midwifery must hold an active PIN from the relevant professional bodies.

Teaching & Research Experience

• A considerable number of years of teaching and research experience at a university or comparable institution.
