Position: Operations and Logistics Assistant

Purple Almond Consulting Services seeks two sharp, proactive operations assistants on behalf of a well established institution in Tema. This role sits at the heart of cross border logistics and transit operations. Therefore, we need people who thrive on precision, paperwork, and problem solving.

What You Will Do Every Day

Your work will directly influence whether shipments move smoothly across borders. Here is your daily mission:

• Verify shipment releases bound for destination countries. Check documentation carefully before any truck moves.
• Confirm payment receipts for fees before loaded trucks depart. No payment, no departure. You hold the line.
• Maintain the Inter‑State Road Transit (TRIE) data file. Keep every record accurate and up to date.
• Perform invoice checks for accuracy and compliance. Catch errors before they become expensive problems.
• Participate actively in TRIE office activities. Engage with transit processes firsthand.
• Prepare operational statistics reports. Turn raw data into clear, useful summaries for management.
• Carry out billing operations according to procedures. Follow every step. Leave nothing to chance.
• Help identify delivery discrepancies. Then resolve issues directly with suppliers.
• Execute all additional tasks assigned by management. Stay flexible and ready to help wherever needed.

What You Must Bring

• Education: A degree in management or a related discipline. Your qualification must come from a recognized institution.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in French gives you a strong advantage. Why? Because transit operations often cross Francophone borders.
• Technical Skills: Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of NAV VISION software adds bonus points.
• Experience: At least one to three years within an institution handling logistics support, transit operations, or accounting. You already understand how shipments, payments, and documentation intersect.
