Position: Freelance Website Designer

Your Mission

You will take responsibility for designing and developing professional websites for businesses and organizations. Your role includes creating responsive websites optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices, working with clients and project managers to gather requirements, configuring domains, hosting, SSL certificates, and email setups, performing website updates and troubleshooting, ensuring SEO best practices, and delivering projects within agreed timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Your role spans web design, development, client collaboration, technical configuration, maintenance, and quality assurance. Here is what you will tackle:

Web Design & Development

• You will design and develop professional websites for businesses and organizations.
• Then, creating responsive websites optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

Client Collaboration

• You will work with clients and project managers to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Translating business needs into functional website designs.

Technical Configuration

• You will configure domains, hosting, SSL certificates, and email setups.
• Ensuring websites are live, secure, and functional.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• You will perform website updates, maintenance, and troubleshooting when required.
• Fixing broken links, updating plugins, and resolving performance issues.

Quality Assurance

• You will ensure websites follow current UI/UX and SEO best practices.
• Delivering projects within agreed timelines and quality standards.

What You Bring to the Role

Experience & Technical Skills

• Proven experience in website design and development.
• Strong knowledge of WordPress, Wix, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of responsive web design principles.
• Basic knowledge of SEO and website performance optimization.
• HTML, CSS, and JavaScript knowledge is preferred.
• Graphic design experience using Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, or Canva is preferred.
• Experience with e commerce websites and payment gateway integrations is preferred.

Portfolio Requirements

• A portfolio showcasing previous website projects is required.
• You must provide links to at least three websites you personally designed.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects without constant supervision.

• Excellent time management skills to deliver projects within deadlines.
