POSITION: Floating Pharmacist
360 GV Group is seeking a Floating Pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical care and support across multiple branches in Accra and surrounding areas. If you can work independently, adapt to different pharmacy environments, and ensure excellent service delivery, this role offers the opportunity to dispense medications, counsel patients, manage inventory, ensure compliance, and support multiple pharmacy teams.

Your Mission
You will take responsibility for dispensing medications accurately and counseling patients on usage, dosage, and side effects. Your role includes managing pharmacy inventory, ordering medications, and maintaining stock levels. You will also ensure compliance with Pharmacy Council regulations and company standards, supervise pharmacy technicians when needed, and collaborate with branch staff to maintain service quality.
Key Responsibilities
Your role spans dispensing, patient counseling, inventory management, compliance, supervision, and cross branch support. Here is what you will tackle:
Dispensing
- You will dispense medications accurately, checking prescriptions for errors.
- Ensuring correct medication, dosage, and labeling.
Patient Counseling
- You will counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and interactions.
- Answering questions about over the counter medications and health management.
Inventory Management
- You will manage pharmacy inventory, ordering medications to maintain stock levels.
- Monitoring expiry dates and rotating stock.
Compliance
- You will ensure compliance with Pharmacy Council regulations and company standards.
- Maintaining records of controlled substances.
Supervision
- You will supervise pharmacy technicians when needed.
- Ensuring adherence to pharmacy procedures.
Cross Branch Support
- You will move between branches to cover staff absences or busy periods.
- Adapting quickly to different pharmacy environments and teams.
What You Bring to the Role
Qualifications & Experience
- A Pharm.D or Bachelor of Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- Valid Pharmacy Council registration and licensure.
- A minimum of three years of work experience as a Pharmacist.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of medications, dosage, and pharmaceutical care.
- Excellent communication skills for patient counseling and team collaboration.
- Excellent customer service skills for handling patient inquiries and concerns.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different pharmacy environments.
