Position: Executive Assistant
Burn stands as a pioneering force in clean energy solutions across Africa, and we currently seek a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to drive commercial growth across our assigned territory. This leadership role places you at the helm of our regional sales operations, where your strategic vision will directly shape market penetration and revenue generation. The Regional Sales Manager position transcends traditional sales leadership. You will take full accountability for driving profitable and sustainable sales growth while leading Cluster Team Leaders, TCRs, and field sales teams toward exceptional performance. Your influence will extend across customer acquisition, portfolio quality management, and building a high-performance sales culture that aligns perfectly with Burn’s strategic objectives. Furthermore, you will serve as the primary driver of commercial excellence throughout your region.
Core Responsibilities
Your daily activities will encompass a comprehensive range of strategic and operational functions:
- Drive regional sales performance while achieving or exceeding assigned sales, revenue, market share, and growth targets
- Lead, coach, and develop Cluster Team Leaders, TCRs, and field sales teams to deliver high performance and execution excellence
- Ensure portfolio quality by maintaining a minimum of 90% repayment efficiency across all regional sales
- Achieve and sustain an average customer usage rate of 1.2 across all sales within the region
- Develop and execute regional commercial strategies and action plans aligned with national business objectives
- Drive customer acquisition, activation, retention, and usage to ensure sustainable growth and long-term customer value
- Monitor and analyze sales, usage, repayment, and operational performance data to identify risks and opportunities
- Ensure full carbon compliance while adhering strictly to company policies and regulatory requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, partners, and stakeholders
- Drive field execution excellence through regular coaching, market visits, and performance reviews
- Identify new market opportunities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to accelerate growth
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Educational Foundation: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a closely related field. This educational background should demonstrate strong commercial understanding and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Professional Experience: We require a proven track record in sales management with consistent achievement of challenging targets. This experience must demonstrate progressive responsibility and success in driving commercial performance.
- Leadership Capabilities: Strong team management and coaching skills remain essential for this role. You must demonstrate ability to motivate diverse teams toward ambitious goals while maintaining accountability and execution excellence.
- Analytical Proficiency: Skilled interpretation of sales data and market trends proves fundamental to success. Furthermore, you must translate complex data into actionable strategies that drive business growth.
