Job Duties

• Develop, calibrate, and apply numerical groundwater flow and transport models for mining and environmental applications.
• Support mine dewatering, depressurization, pit inflow, groundwater recovery, contaminant transport, and closure-related modelling.
• Develop conceptual hydrogeologic models using field data, hydraulic testing, monitoring records, and geological interpretation.
• Evaluate model assumptions, calibration quality, uncertainty, sensitivity, and limitations to support decision-making.
• Prepare technical reports, model documentation, proposals, and work plans for client projects.
• Provide technical review and quality assurance of groundwater modeling work.
• Mentor junior and intermediate hydrogeologists in modeling techniques and hydrogeologic interpretation.
• Work independently on complex technical assignments and manage modeling components of projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including geochemists, engineers, and data specialists.
• Support development and improvement of modeling tools, workflows, and training materials.

Job Requirements

• Advanced degree in hydrogeology, environmental engineering, geochemistry, or a related field.
