About the Role

Mercy Pulmonary is seeking a board certified or board eligible Interventional Pulmonologist to join its established pulmonary practice based at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. The pulmonary team is supported by five pulmonologists and advanced practice providers in delivering comprehensive respiratory and interventional care.

The position offers a diverse clinical environment with opportunities across interventional procedures, outpatient and inpatient care, and critical care services. Physicians will work with advanced pulmonary technologies while contributing to high-quality patient outcomes and collaborative clinical practice.

Job Duties

Provide specialized interventional pulmonology services across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Perform advanced pulmonary diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Manage patients with lung cancer and complex pulmonary conditions.
Utilize advanced procedural technologies including robotic bronchoscopy and endobronchial interventions.
Conduct procedures including EBUS, airway stenting, right heart catheterization, and radial probe interventions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
Participate in consult services and shared call responsibilities.
Deliver evidence-based pulmonary and critical care treatment.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
Support ongoing improvement of pulmonary services and procedural outcomes.

Job Requirements

Board certification or board eligibility in Pulmonary Medicine.
Eligibility to practice medicine in the United States.
Experience or interest in interventional pulmonology procedures.
