POSITION: Contact Center Agents

Marie Stopes Ghana is seeking Contact Center Agents to provide information and counselling to inbound interactions from existing and potential clients on family planning and sexual and reproductive health services. If you have strong customer service principles, IT skills, and a passion for maternal health, this contract role offers the opportunity to answer inbound requests, make outbound follow-ups, respond to emails and social media messages, refer clients to clinics, and support telemedicine services.

As a Contact Center Agent, you will not simply answer calls; you will provide basic counselling, build caller interest in our services, maintain the Contact Centre database, and support telemedicine services.

Key Responsibilities

Your role spans inbound call handling, outbound follow-ups, telemedicine support, and administrative duties. Here is what you will tackle:

Inbound Call Handling

• You will answer inbound requests promptly, providing basic counselling on reproductive health issues.
• Interpreting complaints or suggestions accurately.
• Building caller interest in MSI products and services.
• Directing requests and unresolved issues to appropriate resources.

Outbound Follow-ups

• You will place outbound calls to clients who visited MSI service delivery channels for quality follow-ups.
• Reminding clients before their visits.
• Supporting commercial sales to verify ageing debts.

Telemedicine Support

• You will pitch telemedicine services to eligible clients.
• Managing records of all telemedicine pre-consultations.

Communication & Administration

• You will respond to emails, online webchat, and social media messages.
• Entering new client information into the system and maintaining the Contact Centre database.
• Logging all calls to the centre.
• Escalating technical challenges to the Contact Centre Manager.

What You Bring to the Role

Qualifications & Experience

• A degree or HND in Marketing, Social Sciences, Communication, Public Relations, Healthcare Assistance, Enrolled Nursing, Community Health, or a related field.
• Prior experience in a Contact Center environment.
• Two years of post-graduation experience.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
• IT skills with a focus on Microsoft Office basics and social media.
