Who Qualifies to Apply

Master’s applicants must apply for the first semester of a Master’s degree at Heidelberg University. Again, the selected STEM subject must account for at least 50% of the program. The same restriction applies regarding prior Heidelberg degrees.

The application and enrollment processes remain separate. Consequently, you must also apply for admission to Heidelberg University separately, because enrollment is a prerequisite for funding .

Eligible Fields of Study

The scholarship supports degree programs across the full STEM spectrum:

Mathematics: Applied Mathematics, Statistics
Computer Science and Informatics: Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering
Natural Sciences: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Sciences, Earth Sciences
Technology and Engineering: Information Technology, Engineering programs
Other STEM Programs: Any Heidelberg program classified within MINT fields with at least 50% STEM content
