As our organization expands rapidly, we need exceptional talent to strengthen our Quality Assurance Department. Therefore, we seek a Quality Assurance Supervisor who will champion excellence across all production stages. Your expertise will directly influence product integrity and customer satisfaction.

Your Core Responsibilities

• Enforce compliance with quality policies, procedures, work instructions, and documented systems while adhering to statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Inspect incoming raw materials against specifications and submit detailed reports after each evaluation.
• Oversee fruit washing and storage procedures to guarantee optimal quality preservation.
• Monitor peeling and cutting quality at the processing unit and complete control sheets accurately.
• Supervise packing quality at the packing unit and document findings properly.
• Conduct quality control checks on pallets following finished goods control procedures.
• Perform daily calibration and verification of all measuring equipment in both laboratory and factory settings.
• Control storage areas and conditions vigilantly to maintain product freshness.
• Train and coach factory employees continuously on food safety and quality matters.
• Uphold stringent housekeeping standards throughout the facility.
• Report non compliance issues regarding quality and food safety management systems to the Quality Assurance Manager immediately.
• Escalate product quality non conformities without delay to your supervisor.
• Notify management promptly about equipment breakage, damage, or malfunction.
• Ensure proper sample collection for each production batch.
• Maintain all quality control tools and equipment meticulously in the laboratory and factory.
• Supervise effective cleaning of all production equipment, dryers, and factory premises.
• Organize records systematically for easy analysis and future reference.
• Guarantee correct traceability of products and documentation.
• Support process improvements throughout testing and quality assurance activities.
• Adhere strictly to all health and safety guidelines within the factory environment.

What You Bring to the Table

We seek candidates who combine technical expertise with strong leadership capabilities. Specifically, you should possess:

Technical Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Food Science or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum of four years of professional experience in the food processing sector.
• At least three years of hands on experience in a similar supervisory role.
• Verifiable exposure to IFS and BRC certification processes (added advantage).
• Demonstrated experience with organic certification standards (added advantage).
• Proven ability to identify food safety bottlenecks and propose effective solutions.
• Sound knowledge of potentially hazardous materials and EPA safety requirements.
• Strong adaptability with minimal supervision requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Location and Work Arrangement

This position operates onsite at our facility in Akuse, Eastern Region. Therefore, applicants must either reside near the factory location or demonstrate willingness to relocate.
