The Role

As a Plant Operator at Betonsa Ghana Limited, you will play a pivotal role in our production process. Your primary responsibility involves managing batching plant equipment to ensure seamless operations. However, your contribution goes far beyond machine handling. You will actively monitor production quality, perform essential maintenance checks, and maintain accurate production records. Additionally, you will uphold the highest safety standards, ensuring every team member returns home safely at the end of each day.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate batching plant equipment with precision to meet production targets.
• Monitor production quality consistently, identifying and addressing any deviations promptly.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks to prevent equipment breakdowns and prolong machinery lifespan.
• Maintain detailed production records to support operational transparency and continuous improvement.
• Enforce safety compliance across all activities, fostering a culture of zero incidents.

What We Are Looking For

To succeed in this role, you must bring a minimum of three years of hands-on experience operating batching plants or similar heavy machinery. Your technical know how should match your commitment to quality and safety. Moreover, you must demonstrate problem solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work under pressure. Strong communication skills will also help you coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors.
