Job Duties

• Design and develop scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts covering business workflows and edge cases.
• Develop API automation using tools such as REST Assured and Postman/Newman.
• Build and maintain regression, smoke, sanity, and functional test suites.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for reliable execution.
• Perform cross-browser and cross-platform validation.
• Conduct database verification using SQL for end-to-end data integrity.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve product testability and defect prevention.
• Support performance testing initiatives and quality optimisation.
• Maintain documentation, defect tracking, and quality reporting processes.
• Perform root-cause analysis to drive long-term quality improvements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to QA process enhancement.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Four or more years of experience in QA automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience building and maintaining REST API automation.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and SDLC processes.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD environments.
• Strong SQL skills for validation and testing activities.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery environments.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or k6.
• Knowledge of container-based testing environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience using cloud testing platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
• Exposure to BDD frameworks including Cucumber or SpecFlow.
• Understanding of security testing fundamentals and OWASP concepts.
